Billy C. McDaniel, age 86, of Jefferson, died October 31, 2024.
Born at Tuscumbia, Alabama on June 12, 1938, he was a son of the late Dorsie B. McDaniel and Dellie Mae Thorn. He served in the United States Air Force as an air policeman.
Mr. McDaniel worked for Loomis Armored Car Services as a security guard before his retirement.
He loved his family and was a ham radio operator. Mr. McDaniel also enjoyed fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Loyd McDaniel; and his siblings, Warren McDaniel and Doris Earlene Casey.
Survivors include his children, Ernest Wayne McDaniel, Dellie Clark (John), Billy C. McDaniel, Jr., Warren Ray McDaniel, and Jimmy Anthony McDaniel; a bonus daughter, Kathy Marie McCullar (Darren); 14 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, November 4, 2024, 10:00 a.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Lone Tree Cemetery at Stuttgart with Military Funeral Honors.
