1946-2025
William Darrell “Bill” Ursery, age 78, went to be with the Lord on Saturday February 1, 2025.
Born November 15, 1946 at Pine Bluff, he was the only child of the late Ernest Ursery and Eberine “Eb” Reeves Ursery. He was a graduate of Pine Bluff High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Arkansas State University.
Bill was a member of Hawley Memorial United Methodist Church and loved spending time with his grandsons and family.
He also enjoyed watching horse racing and had made several trips to the Kentucky Derby. He was also a history buff and loved reading books about the Civil War.
For over 37 years, Bill worked as a real estate agent and broker in the Pine Bluff area.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Luft Ursery, whom he married on December 11, 1970; his son, Chad Ursery and his wife Neely Swob Ursery; and grandsons, William Peyton Ursery and Ryan Allen Ursery.
At Bill’s request, no services will be held. Arrangements are by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
