Betty Jo Robbins Waller, 88
1936-2025

Betty Jo Robbins Waller, 88, of Pine Bluff, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, April 23, 2025. She was born June 4, 1936 in Altheimer to George Thomas Robbins Sr. and Mollie Cates Robbins.

Betty was raised in different areas of Arkansas, but mostly in Pine Bluff. She worked as a meat wrapper at several different stores including Ryburn’s Meat Packing, Weingarten’s, Mad Butcher’s and County Market. Betty was famous for her macaroni and cheese, as well as her coconut and chocolate pies, which were sold at the Junction Café. She loved cooking, sewing and crocheting, and was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth Waller Jr. (Melanie); daughters, Elizabeth Dobson (Brian), Deborah Kelley (Mike) and Cynthia Miller (Stuart); 11 grandchildren, Steven Tidwell (Mandy), Justin Gatlin, Kaylee Hopson (Noah), Courtnie Ard, Chuck Ard Jr. (Priscilla), Madison Waller (Colby), Matthew Branch, Jake Miller, Cassie Miller, Brian Dobson Jr. (Angel) and Caleb Dobson; and 9 great grandchildren, Laini Tidwell, Matti Tidwell, Avery Hopson, Ripp Hopson, Magnolia Donaldson, McKenzie Robinson, Elijah Rojas, Brie-Anna Miller and Zay Miller.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Kenneth Wade Waller, whom she married March 8, 1954 in Greenville, Mississippi and who went to be with the Lord, August 29, 2002; brothers, Ross Robbins, George Robbins, Andrew Robbins, Billy Robbins, Richard Robbins, Tommy Robbins, Bobby Robbins and Joshua Robbins; and sisters, Louise Robbins Thomas and Martha Robbins Watts.

A graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, April 25, 2025 at Roselawn Cemetery with Rev. Mike Holcomb officiating. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Ralph Robinson & Son.
