1970-2024
Rebecca Irene Boudra, lovingly known to all as Becky, was born September 25, 1970, in Pine Bluff, AR. She attended White Hall High School, and later graduated from Jefferson Nursing Academy. She went on to SEARK and received her Registered Nursing degree. Becky loved helping people, so nursing was perfect for her. Most recently, she worked at Col. Glenn Nursing and Rehab.
Becky loved traveling, especially going on cruises. She was a lover of nature and spent a great deal of time on the river fishing, or just being outdoors. She was an adventurous soul and loved exploring new places. Becky especially loved life and keeping her family and friends entertained. In fact, the party didn’t start until Becky arrived. She WAS the party.
Becky was a generous and giving person who gave of her time to the Jefferson County Home Extension Office. She was also a member of the Watson Chapel Baptist Church.
Becky passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at her home at the age of 54, surrounded by those she loved.
Survivors include her son, Jonathon Holliday; her life partner, Greg Ferguson; her parents, Joyce and Terry Yelverton and Howard and Bambi Boudra; three sisters, Cristy Hosman (David), Karla Lee (Scott), and Lindsey Boudra; three step-sisters, Tiffany Powell (Thom), Melissa Carnal (Chris), and Angela Sutton; nieces and nephews, Adrian, Kaitlyn, Sawyer, Dalton, and Seth; her best friend, Holly Sutton; and her beloved fur babies, Bobo, Osc, and Chico.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 14, 2024, in the Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Todd Howard officiating.
