1966-2025
Arthur “Art” Wayne Taylor, age 58 of Lake Village, Arkansas, passed away April 1, 2025. He was born July 1, 1966 in Phoenix, AZ to the late Lloyd Taylor and Nellie Mae Smith. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Jennie Baptist Church. He had a love for the outdoors. When he wasn’t working, or on a track hoe he enjoyed fishing, camping and buying and trading items.
He is proceeded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Michelle Taylor of Lake Village, Arkansas, his son Ethan Taylor, his daughters Cassidy (Hunter) Tackett of Leland, Mississippi, Kayla Cantrell of Wiggins, Mississippi, his brother Charlie (Heather) Brady of Cabot, Arkansas, his sister, Mary Taylor of Lamar, Mississippi and step-sister Joyce Murr of Crossett, Arkansas, a special aunt Dolly Carter of Crossett, Arkansas, God Son Landyn Fausnight and grandchildren; Lawrence, Michael, Makayla and Kaisen.
A visitation will be held Saturday April 5, 2025, from 1:00 pm- 2:00 pm at the Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Chapel in McGehee, Arkansas. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Bro. Phillip Payne officiating.
