1935-2025
Arnold Eugene “Gene” Hart, went to be with the Lord, Friday, February 21, 2025. He was born April 28, 1935 in Wilmar to Roy C. and Lorean Jones Hart.
Gene was a 1953 graduate of Watson Chapel High School and then served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a self employed Master Electrician before retiring in 1995. Gene loved working in his shop. He was the best father and grandfather and he was Papaw to many.
Survivors include his daughter, Tracy Hart; sons, Calvin Hart (Janet), Jeff Hart (Laura) and Jon Hart (Paula); brother, Carroll Lee Hart; grandchildren, Patrick (Lori), Ryan (Ethan), Salena (James), Christin and Heather; great grandchildren, Brentlee, Jessica, Braxton, Oliver, London and Milo; honorary granddaughter, Tonya; and many other family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his loving wife of 56 years, Jeffie Marie McKinzie Hart, whom he married May 1, 1958, and who passed away March 7, 2015; daughter, Susan Hart; and brothers, Samuel Hart and James Hart.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Fuller Funeral Service. Celebrant Marty Shell, Ryan Higgs and Patrick Hart will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM, Monday at the funeral home.
