Anthony Jakob White of Little Rock, Arkansas was born April 16, 2005 at Searcy, Arkansas, the son of Meagan Kohler Poe and the late James Anthony White. He was a 2023 Graduate of Poyen High School and was currently working in maintenance work for an apartment complex. Jakob loved life, and was devoted to his family and friends. His heart was as big as his smile and he was truly loved by all who knew him.
Jakob died Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Little Rock, at the age of 19. Survivors include his mother, Meagan Poe; fiancé’, Vanessa McPherson; sisters, Kaitlynn Pumphrey, Halie Pumphrey, Dakota White and Madisyn Poe; grandparents, Tammy and Joe Hicks; father, Stephen Poe; nephews, Everest Anthony Reed, Ezra Reed. He is also survived by numerous other extended family members and too many friends to list.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Providence Missionary Baptist Church near Sheridan with Bro. James Lybrand officiating. Visitation is also Thursday, from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the church. Burial will be at 3:00 P.M. at Hickory Plains Cemetery (Prairie County)
