1947-2024

Anthony “Hutch” Hutchison, age 77, of McGehee, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024 exactly 16 years to the day after the love of his life, Judy, passed away.

Hutch was born in Dumas, Arkansas on June 12, 1947 to the late Richard Hutchison and Francis Marbury.

Hutch was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 23 years, Judy, and his brother Larry Hutchison.

He is survived by his sisters, Lisa Dilbeck of McGehee, Arkansas and Melanie Marbury of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, his four children, Brady Hutchison (Amy) of Germantown, Tennessee, Jennifer Moreland (Brannon) of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Michiel Hutchison (Lisa) of McGehee, Arkansas, Brandy Roe of Whitehall, Arkansas, 9 grandchildren, 2 great granddaughters, and countless other loved ones and friends.

Hutch served in the Vietnam war ranked as an E7 from 1966 to 1969, reenlisting for an extra year so his little brother wouldn’t be drafted.

He began working for Potlatch/Clearwater Corporation in 1977 and retired in February 2010.

Hutch enjoyed horseshoes and poker with friends, traveling with his family, fishing, hunting, and many years of traveling to play softball.

Services for Hutch were held at Griffin Culpepper Funeral Home on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 2:00 PM. Interment immediately followed at Dermott City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his memory to The Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Arkansas.
