According to a letter from Alexander to the UAPB community, the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees will select his replacement and are expected to appoint an interim chancellor while a search is held for a permanent replacement.

Alexander’s last day at UAPB is scheduled to be June 28 and he will take over as Chancellor at UAM-Flint on July 1. That appointment is for five years.
