Mayor Vivian Flowers gave her first State of the City Address Monday night at the Pine Bluff Convention Center to discuss her plans as Mayor for Pine Bluff and more.
Flowers began by saying education in the City of Pine Bluff will be a focus of her administration.
The utilization of transportation resources offered in Pine Bluff will also be a focus.
Flowers added that the city will utilize two new hotels to support existing events as well as to bring in new events.
There have been changes made in several positions around the city, to include the Fire and Police Chief positions. Flowers addressed those changes.
She added that transparency will be a part of her regime.
Flowers closed by saying her administration will listen to the citizens of Pine Bluff.
