Bonds of $25,000 each were set Thursday for two Pine Bluff men accused of breaking into a warehouse and trying to steal an oil machine and scrap metal.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bonds for Christopher Millard, 43, and Mateo Jiminez, 59, after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge them  with commercial burglary.

Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel said the allegation is based on a probable cause affidavit by Detective Laquincia Smith of the Pine Bluff Police Department.

Akel said the officer inspected the building and found drag marks on the floor leading to the back of the utility truck and it appeared that the machine had been dragged to the front of the building.

A criminal history check showed Millard has three prior felony convictions in Northwest Arkansas and is currently on probation. Jiminez has no prior felony convictions.

The Public Defenders Office was appointed to represent them.
