October Is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and as it comes to a close, Jefferson Regional Hospital has scheduled a couple of events to raise money for the breast center.
The first of those, the “Pretty in Pink” luncheon will take place Wednesday at the Pine Bluff Country Club.
During a recent appearance on the Oldies 1013 morning show, Laura Beth Shaner talked about it.
Also, this week, a 5K run-walk is scheduled and Shaner discussed that.
The entry fee is $35 and participants will also receive a T-shirt.
