Statement from Jefferson County Sheriffs Department at 3:10PM
On March 13, 2025, a member of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) Dive Team recovered a submerged, vehicle from a waterway near the Regional Park Softball Complex in Pine Bluff.
Acting on information received from another law enforcement agency the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Criminal Investigations Division was made aware of a possible submerged vehicle in a creek behind the Regional Park Softball Complex in Pine Bluff. Further investigation revealed there was a vehicle submerged. Upon further investigation of the vehicle, it was found to be a 1997 Nissan Altima. The vehicle was empty of any persons and Investigators will be attempting to locate the registered owner.

Car is out of the water at Regional Park. No apparent body from our angle. Jefferson County Sheriffs department and Pine Bluff PD still on the scene.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team is working to pull a vehicle out of Black Dog Creek in Regional Park.
Deltaplex News is on scene and working to gather more information. We have learned it is unsure if anyone is inside of the vehicle or not at this time.
