Wednesday is United Way Day on Oldies 1013 and this week Jacqueline Ross of the Delta Network Food Bank talked about what they have been doing, and plans for a future event.
Morning Show host Greg Horne asked Ross for more details about the event in September.
Ross also urged parents to sign their kids up for Christmas toys which are given out each year.
She said more than 400 children received toys, and also discussed the backpack program.
