Highway 229 in Dallas County is set to close for a pipe replacement just south of Moro Creek near Carthage on Monday, October 21.
According to a press release from ARDOT, the section of the highway between Carthage and Leola will be accessible only to local traffic.
Commuters will encounter signed detours, allowing them to navigate around the closure using Highway 46 to Highway 9 to Highway 48.
Traffic management will involve the use of barrels, barricades, and signage, according to the release.
