There has been a string of wildfires taking place in Pine Bluff and Jefferson County this week and several local and state agencies have had to assist with them including the local Pine Bluff Fire Department. On Thursday, Fire Chief Shauwn Howell joined the Oldies 1013 morning show to talk about how his department assisted with those incidents.
Morning show host Greg Horne mentioned the lack of rain coverage in the area and Howell explain how that contributes to the spread of fires.
Howell was asked if there was any reported damage that occured during those recent incidence and Howell said this.
Howell also thanked all if the individuals and agency that helped to combat those fires.
