Thursday is colon cancer screening day in Rison. Sponsored by the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute’s Community Outreach and Engagement Program, the screening event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rison Pharmacy located at 300 Pine St.
