Kentucky jumped out to a 6-0 lead after 5 innings and held on for a 9-6 win over the Razorbacks in the SEC Tournament in Hoover, Alabama.  The loss ends the tournament for Arkansas, who was beaten by South Carolina yesterday.

Arkansas ace Hagen Smith was pulled after giving up two runs in the first two innings and delivering only 36 pitches. Coach Dave Van Horn said it was not a physical issue, but just a chance to let him rest up for the postseason.

Peyton Holt homered twice for Arkansas, who also got a homerun in the 9th from Jared Sprague-Lott.
