The Delta Rivers Nature Center is planning a special event for Halloween this year.
After basically being shut down for two years because of covid, Center Director Jason Hooks discussed the event, called Wetlands and Wildlife, which will take place Oct. 29 from noon to 5 p.m.
Appearing on the Oldie 1013 morning show, Hooks said parking will be on the field across from the softball complex at the park and while admission is free, he said donations will be accepted from people wanting to support the center and conservation in Arkansas.
On another subject, Hooks was asked if the center has been able to recover not only from covid but also the damaging flood that forced it to shut down.
