Two Pine Bluff men were arrested Wednesday after they were found inside the shuttered Pines Mall removing copper wire.
Charles Phillips, 28, and Keith Ludwig, 28, were taken into custody after police patrolling at the mall saw an open door.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Sgt. Keith Banks, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West explained the allegation.
West said Phillips is on probation and is listed as an absconder and Ludwig has no prior felony convictions but does have several failures to appear from district courts in Pine Bluff and Sheridan.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $15,000 cash only bond for Phillips and a $25,000 secured bond for Ludwig after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge them with breaking or entering and theft of scrap metal. Both men were told to come back to court Sept. 11.
