On Thursday Deltaplex News reported that Central Moloney has donated $10,000 to the Watson Chapel Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council.
The check, which was presented to board members, superintendent Dr. Keith McGee, and students by Central Moloney CEO and Watson Chapel graduate Chris Hart, is to cover a trip to a Memphis Grizzlies game as a reward for hard work by students in the Advisory Council.
Hart spoke with Deltaplex News about the donation and why he decided to do it.
Watson Chapel Superintendent Dr. Keith McGee spoke with Deltaplex News as well about the donation.
McGee said a contact with Minnesota Timberwolves assistant coach Corliss Williamson helped to make this happen along with the help from Hart and Central Moloney.
