Charlene Wright, who is one of two candidates for Zone 7 on the Pine Bluff School Board has been critical of current Superintendent Jennifer Barbaree while others in the community have expressed the belief that Barbaree is the right person to lead the district. Wright recently appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show and was asked about her opposition to Barbaree.
Wright responded to Horne’s statement this way.
Horne said he believed that if you’re just teaching someone just how to pass a test rather than teaching them the subject matter, that sounds counter productive.
Horne also asked Wright to explain why people should vote for her rather than her opponent.
