An $8,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff man accused of threatening his girlfriend with a knife during an altercation.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Travis Smith, 43, with aggravated assault on a family or household member.
Deputy Prosecutor Ty Spradlin said Smith was arrested after police responded an a reported armed disturbance at an apartment at 3301 Fair Oaks.
Police reported that the victim had a minor injury to her left wrist which she said occurred when she and Smith were struggling.
Smith, who is currently on parole and has three prior felony convictions, was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Jan. 27.
