A $75,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff woman who allegedly fired shots at the vehicle of another woman, resulting in the victim getting grazed by a bullet.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Nkheyia Jackson, 18, with first-degree battery and committing a terroristic act.
Reading from an affidavit by Detective Mike Merritt, Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander said in July 13 at 7:20 p.m., Officer Ryan Edwards was sent to West Barraque and North Olive Street in reference to a report that a person had been shot.
When Jackson was interviewed, she denied threatening or firing shots at the victim but admitted fighting with her on Facebook Messenger.
Jackson was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Aug. 26.
