A $5,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff woman on drug and weapons related charges.

Lincoln County District Judge Phillip Green set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Sommer Barton, 24, with simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Green was sitting in for Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth.

According to an affidavit from White Hall Police Officer Charles Treadway, Officer Christian Carroll was patrolling when he saw a green Chevrolet Tahoe that had a defective license plate light.

The Public Defender’s Office was appointed to represent Barton, and she was told to come back to court Jan. 12.
