A $5,000 bond was set Wednesday for a White Hall man accused of injuring his girlfriend during an altercation.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge James Mouton, 34, with second offense third-degree domestic battery, a felony.
Reading from an affidavit by White Hall Police Detective Charles Treadway, Deputy Prosecutor Katelyn Phillips explained the allegation against Mouton.
Mouton was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Sept. 23.
