A Pine Bluff man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly stole a wallet containing cash and credit cards.
Johnny Finley, 52, was taken into custody after he was located by police on University Drive.
During a court hearing Friday, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said police were notified that a customer had left their wallet on a counter at Relyance Bank and before anyone could get to it, Finley picked it up, put it in a blue bag, and left the bank.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $5,000 bond for Finley after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with theft of property. Finley was told to come back to court Aug. 9.
