A $ 50k bond was set for a PB man accused of shooting another man Sunday

A $50,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man accused of shooting another man Sunday.

Jefferson Count District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Trenton Womack, 22, with first-degree battery.

During the court hearing, prosecutors explained the allegation against Womack.

Womack also told police he was mad and had shot the victim nine times, including when the victim was leaving the store.

Womack was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Jan. 27.
