A $25,000 cash only bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man currently on probation who allegedly pointed a gun at another man and threatened to kill him.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Antonio Haywood, 41, with aggravated assault, terroristic threatening and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander said Haywood has four or more prior felony convictions and is on probation in Jefferson County Circuit Court.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Jason Boykin, Alexander said on Aug. 15, police were sent to Blake Street Muffler Shop in reference to a reported armed disturbance.

Haywood was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Sept. 25.
