A $20,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Jefferson County man accused of being involved in a burglary in the county in January.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Christopher Reed, 45, with residential burglary and theft of property.
According to an affidavit by Jefferson County Sheriff’s Sgt. Clayton Cantrell, on Jan. 28,
A deputy was sent to a house on Christy Road in response to a reported burglary.
Cantrell reported that some of the stolen property was found in the woods behind Reed’s house.
Reed was told to come back to court March 12.
