A Pine Bluff woman who appeared in court last week after allegedly cashing forged checks was back in court on new allegations Tuesday.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth ruled prosecutors have probable cause to charge Charlotte Stanley, 44, with forgery, theft of property and non-financial identity fraud based on new allegations from Detective Sgt. Steven Rucker.

Chief Deputy Prosecutor Jill Reed said on Aug. 5, police responded to Relyance Bank where Stanley and a man identified as Roger Williams were in the drive-thru attempting to cash a forged check.

Reed said Stanley was seen in court Aug. 16 and the allegations Tuesday are new ones.

A $15,000 bond was set for Stanley and she was told to come back to court Sept. 20.
