A $15k bond was set for a PB man on drug charges

A $15,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man on drug related charges.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Jimmy Howard, 60, with possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine.

Reading from an affidavit by White Hall Police Officer Christian Carroll, Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander said on Friday at 9:30 p.m., White Hall officers responded to an area where a number of thefts from vehicles had occurred.

Howard was told to come back to court Aug. 26.
