Three people were arrested Friday after they allegedly stole eggs from a farm in Jefferson County.

Amber Rodgers, 53, Darren Murdock, 25, and Kimberly Moore, 42, all of Pine Bluff were taken into custody after sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle driven by Rodgers on Highway 79 south.

Reading from an affidavit by sheriff’s investigator Dennis Kendall, Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander explained the circumstances that led to the arrest.

Alexander said Moore has eight prior felony convictions while Rodgers and Murdock have none.

Because of the prior convictions, Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $15,000 bond for Moore and $5,000 bonds for Rodgers and Murdock after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge them with breaking or entering. All three were told to come back to court March 31.
