A $10,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff woman accused of threatening a man with a knife Sunday.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Candalynn Ladd, 32, with aggravated assault on a family or household member.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Laquincia Smith, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel said at 3:31 a.m., police were sent to a residence on West 20th in response to a reported domestic disturbance.

Ladd was taken to Jefferson Regional Hospital to be treated after the tazer use and then to the adult detention center.

She was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Sept. 26.
