A $10k bond was set for a PB woman being charged with aggravated assault

A $10,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff woman accused of trying to run over he boyfriend with a vehicle.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Donyelle Stevens, 42, with aggravated assault on a family or household member.

Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said on July 5, police were sent to a house on Howard Drive in response to a reported domestic disturbance.

West said Stevens also gave a statement to detectives.

Stevens was told to come back to court Aug. 7 and to have no contact with the victim until the case is settled.
