A $100,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff man accused of being involved in the robbery of a business on July 7.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Eric Smith, 21, with aggravated robbery.

During the court hearing, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel read from an affidavit by Detective Jason Boykin.

Akel said on July 15, Smith turned himself in to detectives who took a statement from him.

Smith was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Aug. 14.
