A $100,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man who allegedly pointed a gun at another person and threatened to shoot him.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Termaine Braxton, 41, with terroristic threatening, aggravated assault and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Mike Merritt, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said Saturday afternoon, police were sent to a reported armed disturbance on West 25th Avenue.

West said police talked to the victim who said Braxton has left and then returned and started talking strangely.

Braxton has no prior convictions in Jefferson County but West said he did have convictions in other counties for residential burglary, theft of property and theft by receiving.

He was ordered to have no contact with the victims and told to come back to court July 17.
