At its most recent meeting, the Woodlawn School Board announced the hiring of a new assistant principal and head football coach.
According to the Cleveland County Herald, the positions became open when Zach Meyer, who had been filling both jobs, was promoted to Woodlawn Elementary Principal.
Ethan Bumpass was hired as the new assistant principal for both the elementary and high school. He had been assistant principal at Camden Fairview High School for the past four years.
Hunter Davis, who had been an assistant coach at White Hall High School was named the new head football coach for the Bears. The newspaper reported that Davis has also coached at Heber Springs and Crossett.
The board also approved hiring all certified and classified staff for the 2025-2026 school year.
