The on-going dispute between the owner of a mobile home park and the City of Tull in Grant County continued with members of the Tull Zoning Committee looked to take decisive action.
According to the Sheridan Headlight newspaper, Aaron Morehart has said he was going to rezone a house within the mobile home park but so far his efforts have fallen short.
In addition, Morehart has not delivered a formal plat of the property showing the location of mobile homes, roads, storage areas and utilities.
The newspaper reported that Morehart has what city officials called a history of zoning violations and has been fined previously. He failed to appear in district court April 1 to discuss those violations and has not paid the accrued fines.
He is in default and contempt of court and a bench warrant has been issued. Once that is served, he will have 10 days to respond.
