Arbor Day is coming up next week, but the Jefferson County Extension Service is getting a head start by planting a tree today.
The public is invited out today for the first ceremony at noon at SEARK. Kevin Harris told Deltaplex about the next two ceremonies
The extension office is also accepting soil samples right now to be tested. You can collect about a pint of soil from various parts of your yard and drop them off to be tested. Testing will take a week to ten days. For more info, contact the JCES at 870-534-1033
