A $10,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff man accused of stealing a boat.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Harold James, 70, with theft by receiving.

During the court hearing, Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander said on Tuesday, police were sent to a house on Faucett Road in response to a reported stolen boat

Alexander said James has more than four prior felony convictions. He was told to come back to court May 7.
