A new state law bans cell phones in every public school district in the state beginning this fall.
Pine Bluff School District Superintendent Jennifer Barbaree was asked about that law by Oldies 1013 Morning Show host Greg Horne who said his understanding was that the Pine Bluff District didn’t allow cell phones now.
Horne asked if that meant no cell phones on campus?
“Tell those kids there were no such thing as cell phones when we went to school and they can survive without them,” Horne said.
