Jefferson Regional Hospital’s Urology Associates will be participating in what’s being called a “March Madness Wellness Event” at the White Hall Community Center Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
Two of Jefferson Regional’s Urologists, Drs. Nick Scherzer and Nathan Green were guests on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show to talk about the event.
Morning Show host Greg Horne asked if this event was just for men.
Horne noted that there will be a lot of “free stuff” and screenings to determine if there is anything wrong.
Horne asked if a rectal exam is “a little old school” and is being replaced by a PSA blood test.
Horne asked if men were missing anything since rectal exams are no longer needed or if the blood tests seem to be better.
