A lawsuit filed by the City of Pine Bluff against Jefferson County over fees the county imposed for holding people in the county jail was decided Wednesday when the court ruled the county had the right to impose those fees.
County Judge Gerald Robinson was asked about that lawsuit when he appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show.
Robinson went on to say this.
Morning Show host Greg Horne asked Robinson if this was the case where he and other county officials were surprised when the city filed the lawsuit.
Robinson also talked about the amount of money the city owed at the time of the lawsuit.
He said he had not heard from Mayor Vivian Flowers but was willing to listen to whatever Pine Bluf has to say.
