An end of the year switch in garbage collection in the unincorporated areas of Jefferson County has been completed, according to County Judge Gerald Robinson.
Appearing on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show Monday, Robinson said Waste Management is out and Lakeshore Recycling is in.
Morning Show host Greg Horne asked Robinson if he meant that Waste Management was picking up the containers or just the trash in them.
Horne also asked Robinson if the switch to Lakeshore Recycling was made because of issues like those he had talked about.
Horne also asked if the rates for customers will remain the same.
