A $1,500 bond was set Wednesday for a man accused of fleeing from police Sunday driving a car that had been reported stolen.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Jaylin Robinson, 26, with felony fleeing.

Deputy Prosecutor Ty Spradlin had asked for a $5,000 bond but the judge reduced the amount after hearing from the public defender’s office.

Spradlin explained the allegation against Robinson.

Spradlin said Trooper Bob Love reported that Robinson got off the interstate at Exit 35.

Robinson was treated at the scene by Emergency Ambulance Service personnel then taken to the adult detention center. He was told to come back to court Jan. 29.
