PBSD Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Barbaree discussed the recent school board meeting

Every school district in Arkansas is required to make a public report each year and the Pine Bluff School District did theirs at the last meeting of the school board last week.

Pine Bluff School District Superintendent Jennifer Barbaree explained the report when she appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show.

Barbaree said one of the other goals was safe and supportive schools.

Barbaree said the new weapons detector at both entrances of the junior high and senior high and security is at each of them. Metal detectors are at each elementary school, and each has security officers.

She was also asked about construction on the new high school.
