Aleta Posey, who was formerly a principal in the Little Rock School District has been named Assistant Superintendent of the Watson Chapel School District.
Posey joined the district last week and on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show, she talked about why she took the job.
Because she was new and offered a “fresh pair of eyes,” Morning Show host Greg Horne asked her what she sees as the needs of Pine Bluff and particularly the Watson Chapel School District?
Horne said a former Watson Chapel Superintendent said that the district did not have a racial problem, it had a poverty problem and Posey responded by saying “it’s not just here, it’s all over.”
