A $300,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man currently on parole, on multiple drug related charges.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Eric Taylr, 54, with possession of methamphetamine with purpose to deliver, possession of ecstasy with purpose to deliver, possession of cocaine with purpose to deliver, possession of fentanyl with purpose to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Prosecutors said Taylor was arrested after police vice and narcotics detectives, the SWAT team and members of the Tri-County Drug Task Force served a drug related search warrant at 23 Lily Cove Thursday at 11:45 a.m. Taylor was detained in the front yard and a female was detained inside the house and a detective did a video walk-through before the search began.
Taylor also had a small baggie with a white substance identified as fentanyl in a pants pocket.
Court records showed that Taylor has 10 prior felony convictions for offenses including aggravated robbery, robbery, breaking or entering, theft of property and rape. He was told to come back to court Jan. 5, 2025.
