A Little Rock woman was killed in the early morning hours Sunday after the vehicle she was driving was hit head-on by another vehicle.
According to a preliminary report, Jennifer Morton, 48, was northbound on Arch Street at 5:44 a.m. when the 2016 Honda CRV she was driving was hit by a 2008 Ford F-150 driven by Maynor SairSorto Herrera, 30, of Alexander that had veered into the northbound lane.
Morton died at a Little Rock hospital and Herrara was injured and taken to a hospital.
The death was the 390th so far this year on the state’s highways.
